To create this cultivar, Grounded Genetics located the authentic breeders cut of the clone-only Gary Payton (The Y x Snowman), and pollinated her with their Jealousy male (Gelato 41 x Sherb Bx). The flowering time is around 9 weeks and the yield ranges from moderate to high. Jumpshot's progeny can get a little lanky, but there is a lot of nicely stacking side branching found across most of the phenotypes. The majority of the plants are full of vigour and with a beautiful appearance. Jump Shot produces deep, dark fan leaves with a lovely leather-like handle and many of the keeper phenos tend to exhibit the crinkled fan leaf trait found in many of the Sherb lines. Expect bulky buds and a good amount of sticky resin, abundant in terps and active compounds, making for an extremely pungent, potent smoke. Some phenos may throw funk notes, ranging from complex artificial candy to the gassy, sweet cookie & cream-fuelled tones. Additionally, the THC levels are above average. Due to its effects, Jump Shot is more of an evening cultivar. It has a lot of sedative properties and can be used as a pain reliever.
